Overview

An experienced land use and zoning attorney, Sara guides and advises clients through all phases of the land use and development process, including rezoning, special permits, and special exception and variance applications. Sara gained invaluable experience in land use and zoning while working for former Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Member, Sharon Bulova, and brings broad experience across jurisdictions and industries throughout northern Virginia, having represented land owners, developers, businesses and community non-profits in land use and zoning matters in the counties of Fairfax, Arlington, and Loudoun, as well as in the City of Fairfax, the Town of Vienna and the Town of Herndon. Her projects have ranged from large mixed-use developments to infill residential developments, assisted living facilities, and places of worship.A native of Fairfax County, Sara is active in the community. She is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Fairfax's Emerging Leaders Program and remains active in the organization. Sara previously served as a board member for Langley Residential Support Services and now serves as a board member for the Arlington YMCA and Good Shepherd Housing. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, running, and learning the ukulele.
