Erica Chua Hawkins - Richmond, VA

Erica Chua Hawkins began practicing law in 2002 and has appeared in at least 44 Courts (including Circuit, Juvenile and Domestic Relations, and General District Courts) across more than 25 counties in Richmond and Northern Virginia.

In her first five years of practice, she gained extensive civil litigation experience in a broad range of subject matter.

For the past 5+ years, she has focused her practice on family law. She effectively employs her litigation background to serve her family law clients, applying her courtroom skills, motions practice, negotiation, and advocacy skills to divorce, custody, and support matters. To protect her client’s interests, she routinely draws from legal knowledge from diverse areas of experience, including real estate and personal property, contracts, torts, business law, creditor and debtor rights, estate planning, insurance law, and years of negotiating case settlements.

In 2018 and 2019, Ms. Hawkins became a qualified guardian ad litem and has been appointed by courts to represent the rights of children, incapacitated adults, and deployed service members.

After practicing law in Northern Virginia for many years, Ms. Hawkins relocated to the Richmond area in 2023. She continues to expand her law practice, focusing on family law.
