Steve Strickler - Virginia Beach, VA

Stephen A. Strickler is a founding partner of Inman & Strickler PLC. He has dedicated his career to representing injured workers and accident victims throughout Eastern Virginia, with a primary focus on workers' compensation, disability claims, and medical malpractice. With decades of courtroom experience and a record of significant verdicts and settlements, Mr. Strickler brings extensive legal knowledge and experience to every case. A resident of Virginia Beach since 1950, Mr. Strickler received his B.A. from the Virginia Military Institute in 1968 and his J.D. from Washington and Lee University in 1971. He served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserve on active duty from 1971 to 1973 and as a captain in the Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAGC), U.S. Army Reserve, from 1973 to 1980.

Mr. Strickler has represented employees before the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission and the Virginia Court of Appeals for more than 35 years. Although he previously represented employers and their insurance companies in workers' compensation cases, he now exclusively represents injured workers. His practice primarily focuses on workers' compensation and other disability-related matters.

Mr. Strickler has lectured at statewide Virginia CLE seminars in 2002, 2004, 2006, and 2008 on various workers' compensation issues. He also spoke at the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission's annual seminars in 2004 and 2005. Additionally, he lectured for the National Business Institute in 2012 and 2016 on handling workers' compensation cases.

Mr. Strickler is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Beach Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the I'Anson-Hoffman Inns of Court. He is admitted to practice before all Virginia courts, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
