Overview

Alan Singer joined the law offices of Anna R. Tseytlin in 2021 and concentrates his practice on personal injury cases, bringing his litigation and insurance experience to the exclusive representation of injured plaintiffs. After more than 25 years of various legal experience, Alan has grown to be a fierce and strong advocate for his clients.

Graduating in 1993 from the Vermont Law School, Alan is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, where he also has served as an assistant general counsel. He first gained significant experience as a criminal prosecutor, where he both conducted jury and bench trials and witnessed other lawyers conducting trials. Alan also served as an associate attorney with a large Seattle insurance defense firm, where he represented clients in litigation before both Washington state and federal courts. There, he successfully represented lawyers, health care providers, insurance companies, school districts, and other clients in cases involving automobile accidents, professional malpractice, product liability defects, premises liability claims, public records claims, employment discrimination claims, and other claims. As a result of his work, in 2006 Alan received a nomination of ‘Rising Star' from Super Lawyers, a recognition given to the top 2.5% of attorneys in the State of Washington.

Alan also served as a staff attorney for the Washington State Insurance Commissioner, where he protected consumers and enforced Washington's insurance laws and rules. He successfully handled over one hundred enforcement cases against licensed and unlicensed persons, insurance companies, and other entities and provided significant contribution to cases in litigation. In one such 2013 landmark insurance case, Chicago Title Ins. Co. v. Office of Insurance Commissioner, Alan received a personal commendation for his work directly from Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler.

Alan also has served as an attorney in litigation staff counsel offices for Washington's largest automobile insurance companies. In that role, Alan has successfully handled hundreds of cases for individual clients and insurers involving automobile accidents and premises liability claims.

Alan lives in Seattle with his wife and family.

When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, making pizza, playing ice hockey, and cheering for the Kraken.
