Attorney Information
Overview
Craig Steger has been fighting for injured motorists, truck drivers, farmers, and their families for over 20 years. Licensed in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa, Craig focuses his practice on serious personal injury and wrongful death cases involving commercial trucks, farm equipment, and other heavy machinery. He understands the risks drivers and farmers face every day — both on the road and in the fields — and he is committed to holding negligent companies, manufacturers, and insurance carriers accountable.
Craig’s experience spans state and federal courts throughout the Midwest, and he has handled cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. He knows how to stand up to large corporations and insurers, and he is not afraid to take a case to trial when justice requires it.
Craig’s connection to trucking and farming isn’t just professional — it’s personal. He grew up dairy farming and beef ranching, and now lives with his wife and nine children on their small farm in western Wisconsin, where he raises his own beef, cuts firewood, and works the land. He also holds a Class A Commercial Driver’s License, with air brakes and manual transmission endorsements, giving him firsthand knowledge of the challenges truck drivers face on the road.
When he’s not in the courtroom or on the farm, Craig enjoys deer hunting, fishing and doing CrossFit. His dedication to hard work and discipline in all areas of life carries over to how he fights for his clients: with grit, honesty, and relentless effort.
