Attorney Ryan Braithwaite’s legal practice focuses on municipal law, municipal litigation, and general litigation in Wisconsin. Ryan has over 20 years of experience representing municipalities in contract disputes, defense of high-end property tax appeals, eminent domain, handling special assessments, land use, zoning regulations, drafting municipal ordinances and contracts, and open meetings/records.

Ryan’s litigation experience also includes non-municipal general litigation matters such as commercial disputes, contract disputes, product liability, insurance defense, trademark and copyright, federal and appellate litigation, and personal injury cases. Ryan has argued before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and the 7th Circuit.

Ryan’s background includes presenting on a range of legal topics before the Wisconsin State Bar, CVMIC, and the Civil Trial Counsel of Wisconsin. In addition, he has written articles published in Civil Trial Counsel of Wisconsin and Wisconsin Realtor Magazine. Earlier in his career, Ryan was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Wisconsin Super Lawyers.
