Attorney Information

Overview

I am an Associate Attorney with Hammett, Bellin & Oswald, LLC, serving clients throughout Wisconsin, with a particular focus on the Fox Valley and surrounding communities. My practice concentrates on criminal defense, family law, and personal injury matters. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, client-focused legal representation during some of life's most challenging situations. As a proud father, I understand how important family, stability, and protecting what matters most can be, and I bring that perspective to every client relationship.

As a Wisconsin native, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2021, where I was recognized on the Dean's List. I went on to attend Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, earning my Juris Doctor and receiving a CALI Award, Advanced Legal Research – Wisconsin, 2025, during my legal studies.

Following a family tradition in the legal profession, I joined Hammett, Bellin & Oswald, a long-standing Wisconsin law firm committed to serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout the region. I take pride in helping clients navigate the legal system while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, advocacy, and personal service.

I believe effective representation begins with communication, empathy, and trust. Whether I am assisting a client facing criminal charges, navigating a family law dispute, or pursuing recovery after an injury, I work to ensure every client feels heard, informed, and supported throughout the legal process. Protecting my clients' rights while providing practical guidance and compassionate counsel is at the core of my practice.

To me, clients are never just case numbers or transactions. Every matter involves real people facing significant challenges and important life decisions. While legal technology and processes continue to evolve, I believe the human element of legal representation remains irreplaceable. I strive to build meaningful relationships with my clients and provide the individualized attention and advocacy they deserve.

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
