Paul helped our family on a case with our daughter’s school district. Paul met with my husband and I and our daughter on several occasions, got our story, obtained facts, and researched information relevant to our case. Paul was very knowledgeable and kind. Ultimately our case was won due to the hard work and diligence Paul put in to our case.

I'm pretty sure the money this guy stole from me ($10,000) helped pay for his fancy new website. Do not trust this man. He will turn on you quicker than a doorknob on a whorehouse on $2 Tuesdays. I paid him to file a motion, which he later took back after the judge and him had a private meeting. He allowed the State to control the video at our motion hearing because he said he didn't know how to work the computer. I still have that text Paul. That was the equivalent to him allowing the State to withhold footage that was beneficial to my case. I'm still fighting my case, but this crook got my money, don't let him get yours! Trust me. He sells a good story but never delivers. He can't argue in court because his blood pressure might kill him. Trust me, he can't make it from his car to the Courthouse without being out of breath. He drives a smashed up car with expired plates last I seen and he wears dirty suits to court which smell bad when he sits next to you. I wouldn't be so hard on him if he didn't try to tell me he did $28,000 worth of work in 4 months. Half the time he didn't answer the phone because he was hunting in Canada, meeting with people in the jail on Sunday, his disabled son, or his dying mother. He will say whatever he can to avoid you after you pay him. My case #22CF112. He did represent me briefly but it felt more like I contributed to bad habits. Look up his other reviews on other sites. This is how I discovered his true talent of conning people into giving him money. He even had the guts to ask for more money after 3 months to do extra research. Don't fall for that trick. He promised to get me time served, and the only thing he did was mess my case up more. He even allowed the DA to play the wrong video. He can't even tell a dash cam from a body cam. He will not argue constitutional law like he advertises either. That's all show for this guy. He couldn't even get a Scram Monitor of my leg after 15 months. I had to scream bloody murder to get it removed. No accident, no victim, no warrant for the blood draw. Deputies couldn't get their story straight and body cam showed they lied in their report, yet Paul couldn't get one thing accomplished for $10,000 big ones. Run as far as you can from Paul. He is a smooth talker and knows what to tell his clients right before he pulls turncoat on them. I will file a OLR complaint on him as soon as my case resolves. If you've had him and he's screwed you over, file a Office of Lawyer Regulation complaint on him immediately. He is an officer of the court and his first duty is to the court, then the public, last is the client. He kisses the judges butt so he can continue to profit off of victims of the justice system. BAR members are a private membership. Even if his license does get taken away, they will help him get it back when he pays his dues. Don't trust him please! This message is brought to you by the 1st Amendment. Thank you.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
