Consulted Law firm 2023I am Chief Investigator of Eagle Eye Investigations Agency LLC and I have a few remarks that need to be made public about miss Melissa Miller. We got contacted by a young lady named Alicia asking if we conducted process serving. We punctually responded and informed her that we did. Everything was going as normal until miss Melissa Miller started emailing us. Miss Melissa was very impatient with us; we were working with Alicia just fine. We had sent our contract and made miss Melissa aware of the terms our company is held to associated with process serving. She was very angry and insisted on calling us. We spoke with miss Melissa and explained everything to her not only on email but also over the phone. Miss Melissa could not understand how the process of hiring a professional Private Investigator worked and started being disrespectful and threatening lawsuits before we even started working on the process serves her firm requested. Miss Melissa only paid HALF of what the contract stated she was to pay so we promptly had to return the money for a few reasons to miss Melissa. Upon looking at other reviews from her clients, this is not the first time miss Melissa has been nasty and disrespectful. We do not recommend working with Melissa Miller Law Firm in any capacity. If you need recommendations on GREAT and AWESONE family law attorneys, please give us a call and we will direct you to a number of the TREMENDOUS attorneys we work for! Thank you and have a blessed day.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
