Attorney Tara Helms serves on the Madison County Judicial Selection Committee, is very active with the Christian Women’s Job Corps, and a board member of the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program. She has also served as chair of the Women’s Section of the Alabama Association for Justice.

The firm contributes a percentage of its gross revenues to create a safer community and support local charities. Martin & Helms, P.C., received the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program’s small firm of the year pro bono award in 2012.
