I had a great experience working with Bryan and his office. He made a stressful situation easy to understand and easy to navigate. He was upfront and honest during the entire process and made sure I understood any next steps. His paralegal Michele was very responsive to email and phone calls and it made me feel reassured they had my best interest at heart. At no point did he try to elongate the process and I hired him to complete my will based inbox he handled my divorce.

I very much appreciate having worked with Mr. Matthew Black. I was accused of something I didn’t do and was at a loss until I spoke with Mr. Black. He was attentive and forthright with me about possible outcomes and was willing to help me. He was patient with me and firm in the way he fought for me. He made me feel safe while he represented me and appeared in court on my behalf. It was a pleasure to have Mr. Black on my side.

My family had a great pleasure working with Mr. Shaw of the Signature Law Group for a much needed legal document. The attention to details was impeccable and we are very pleased with the final document. The whole process was smooth and seamless. We will surely recommend Signature Law Group to others. Thanks.

I would highly recommend Mr. Shaw. He helped both me and my son in separate matters. He has a calm and reassuring demeanor because he knows the law. A "straight shooter" when he gives you the facts is what I like about him the most. Thanks Bryan(and your team) for all your help.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
