Hired Law firm 2019-2020I recently was in a car accident with one of my sons, it was scary and I wanted to make sure my son was ok. I knew I needed to take some steps to protect me and my son. I immediately called, The Moore Law Firm just in case my son or myself needed any medical care or if the insurance company gave me any problems. I knew I would be in good hands with this law firm because I have only heard good things about this firm. Well, it turned out I needed medical care, thank goodness my son was ok and The Moore Law Firm took care of everything when I need to get some care. They took care of all the paperwork and the staff (including the Lawyer!!) was always available to talk when I wanted an update. I was told I would get compensation for the accident, but I had no idea it would be so big! Not only did The Moore Law Firm take care of all the paperwork, negotiations for my case, but they also presented me with a HUGE check! Thank you Moore Law Firm, you treated me and my son with such kindness and professionalism.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
