    Hired Law firm 2019
This office did have me at one point... these things are facts...but hey quickest way to deny a fact...i don't know you...i don't recall....smh Avoid like the plague. Service provided was subpar. Seemed to represent opposing party instead of me. Did not perform duties on my behalf. Do not waste your time. Always seemed too busy for case and legal assistance team seemed to not have my best interest nor the law in mind when making decisions. If you do not have any good networking in Yuma, seek other council will not do best efforts on your behalf. Will leave you with no assistance and staff will not assist either, WARNING, If you feel like you're going against "systemic issues" avoid this firm. The not a client you have on record is used all the time for those trying to make an excuse. What i state is fact... i even have phone recordings and emails to validate. Judy is the very person i have recorded on calls. I have emails where staff went against calculations i made for a petition. The staff created numbers that were about $3 an hour less than mine and $4 an hour less than the actual amount of the opposing party. They were actually going against me their client and adamant about working against anything i wanted. In court, i found out my numbers were closer than theirs. When you hire an attorney you hire someone to help take the anxiety and stress of legal matters off of your mind. It is not conducive to pay retainer, research laws, provide documents, find supporting documents, and debate with staff after agreeing with ways to handle a matter with the attorney. Then the staff after debating over the issues are wrong and working against your case. I can honestly say going through this office cost me my peace of mind and possibly thousands of dollars because of how they abandoned me. If you don't want to stress whether or not your attorney or his staff is working on behalf of someone else for a better piece of real estate. I'd look somewhere else. Slander can not be proven with facts....only FACTS can be proven with FACTS. Hearsay is that's an up right attorney... I'm going off of facts I've been through.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
