Since 2001 Victor D. Trey Wright III has been practicing law in Little Rock, Arkansas. Trey is licensed to practice in Arkansas State Courts, Arkansas Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Arkansas and United States District Courts, Trey has the experience and background necessary to successfully and competently represent you anywhere in the State of Arkansas. Trey's home area encompasses Pulaski, Lonoke, Faulkner, and Saline County, where he tries cases in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Bryant, Benton, Lonoke, Cabot, and Conway.
In 2004, Trey opened the Wright Law Firm. The Wright Law Firm focuses on trial related work in the following areas: Family Law, which includes divorce, child custody, child support, adoptions, visitation rights, and grandparent visitation rights. Prior to founding the Wright Law Firm, Trey worked for the James Law Firm for 7 years serving as a law clerk, associate, and finally as a senior associate.
Trey is a trial lawyer in the truest sense of the word. Trey has tried many cases throughout the state ranging from matters as small as parking tickets to Capital Murder trials. This extensive trial experience before judges and juries all around Arkansas has helped Trey become a strong and effective advocate for his clients.
Throughout the years Trey has shown himself to be a competent and capable attorney and, has been asked to serve as a Special judge when the sitting judges are unavailable hear a case.
Trey received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in 2001. In 1998, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Arkansas State University, and is a 1994 graduate of Catholic High School in Little Rock.
Trey is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, the Pulaski County Bar Association, the Lonoke County Bar Association, the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. Membership in these organizations ensures that Trey stays up to date on the latest trends and developments in the law.
Trey is currently serving in the House of Delegates for the Arkansas Bar Association where he works to determine the policies and procedures of the Bar as well as propose the changes in laws for the state legislature to review. As a member of the bar, Trey co-authored the 18 and Life to Go, a Handbook for Young Arkansas, and was responsible for the child custody section of the handbook.
