Verified ClientConsulted Law firm 2023I met with Joseph earlier this month and he was more than helpful with helping me understand how nonexempt employees are entitled to their breaks throughout the day and must be given that ?opportunity?. It is important to understand that it is up to the employee to decline a break, but to make it clear in the notes in payroll as to why they decline to take their break. He also explained to me that it takes one individual to bring several other individuals together to create change within an organization when it comes to payroll violations and equal pay. Joseph was very clear and concise and knew all the intricate details that are involved with being paid correctly. I have taken this information back to my organization and it has helped a great deal but the communication between payroll and our employees.
