Verified ClientHired Law firm 2019-2020From the first phone call, I knew I could count on Gould and Jefferson. I was injured in a car accident and my insurance wouldn't help me because the other party wasn't insured. They expected me to figure out how to pay my own medical bills and find treatment. It was the most stressful experience until I called Ryan and Nathan, who were very professional and immediately took care of everything. They arranged my appointments and dealt with insurance but most importantly they really listened to what I had to say. I even referred my cousin for her DUI which they took care of completely.

Verified ClientHired Law firm 2019-2020I recently was in a very serious car accident that was not my fault. A friend of mine recommended that I contact Gould & Jefferson for legal advice. From there, I dealt with Nathan Soleimani. Throughout the entire process, Nathan has been extremely supportive, knowledgeable, and very easy to communicate with. He helped to make a very stressful experience less stressful and helped put my mind at ease. Based on my experience with Nathan, I would highly recommend Gould & Jefferson to anyone who is in need of legal advice or in need of help with an auto accident.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
