Mekyla Robinson - Carlsbad, CA

Mekyla Robinson joined Lass Law as an Associate Attorney after graduating from the University of San Diego School of Law with her Juris Doctor and passing the California Bar Exam.

While in law school, Mekyla worked with the USD Women’s Legal Clinic where she was able to develop her skills in family law while providing free legal services to low-income individuals in the San Diego area. Now working with Amy, she continues to grow her skills and expertise in the realm of family law.

Since starting at Lass Law, Mekyla has assisted Amy with clients at all stages of their cases from intake to mediation. She assists the Lass Law team in hearings, drafting declarations for clients, and ensuring client’s needs are conveyed in a persuasive and constructive way. Throughout her undergraduate and legal studies, Mekyla was educated in trauma-informed approaches to advocacy as well as for first responders.

In her free time, Mekyla volunteers for multiple animal welfare agencies in San Diego, loves to spend time with her dogs, and traveling to different countries to try new cuisines.
