Verified ClientHired Law firm 2019-2020Frank did a tremendous job handling my case. He has decades of experience, a laser focused staff, and he is honest when managing your expectations. Frank is someone I trust and would highly recommend to my family, friends, and anyone in need of a true professional.

Hired Law firm 2021A very friendly and experienced attorney. He made a tough situation a lot easier to get through. Having someone with his level of experience take care of things was a load off of my mind.

Hired Law firm 2020My family and I were in an accident May 2020. The other driver was found 100% at fault. We were shaken at the scene, but not visibly/immediately injured. The other driver had surface injuries, but we did not communicate with her much as police/fire/paramedics, etc. were quick to respond and took care of everything. It wasn’t until we arrived home some 2 hours later that we started to feel pain. My wife had visible bruising and tenderness from the seatbelt, our 1-year-old was clingy and fussy, my neck and back hurt and I had a pretty persistent headache. You get the idea. Fortunately, my wife has known Frank Nicholas for years and so we called to seek guidance. The first thing you’ll notice about Frank is how personable he is. He’s honest and thoughtful, he’s thorough and compassionate. He doesn’t BS. We’re fortunate to know him, but I know that he’d handle others just the way he handled our case. If you’ve not been in an accident, one thing to know is how long and arduous the process can be. My suggestion is that you immediately seek the guidance of a professional and that Frank is exactly who you should call. To have someone taking care of the steps along the way is worth any amount of money you might pay. Frank assured us that he would not suggest anything that wasn’t in our best interest and I trusted that and you should too. His is a small family-run operation and all involved are friendly, timely, and communicative. I cannot speak highly enough about our experience and would send anyone in a similar circumstance to Frank without a doubt.

Hired Law firm 2018-2020Frank represented me for a car accident I was involved in. Frank worked extremely hard and was always there when I had questions. He paid very close attention to detail and made sure to explain every step of the process to me. He did a great job representing me and I am really happy with the outcome. I could not recommend Frank more!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
