Hired Law firm 2024-2025Beware of Peter McNulty Law Firm – Unethical Business Practices Our firm, Empire Pacific Investigative Services (EPIS), provided extensive investigative work for Peter McNulty Law Firm, delivering exceptional results in accordance with our agreement. Despite our professionalism, diligence, and the value of our work, they have continuously avoided payment for the past 12 months. Now, after a year of stalling, they have the audacity to offer only 50% of what is owed. This law firm operates in bad faith, engaging in deceitful business practices by commissioning services and then refusing to pay in full. Their actions demonstrate a lack of integrity and ethical responsibility. If you are a professional or service provider considering working with them, be warned—expect to be strung along with excuses and delays, only to be shortchanged in the end. No reputable business should have to fight to get paid for work that was properly completed. If you value your time, effort, and financial stability, avoid working with Peter McNulty Law Firm. Unless, of course, you enjoy working for free—because that’s exactly what they expect. We strongly advise other investigative firms, vendors, and professionals to exercise extreme caution before engaging with them. This is not a law firm that honors its commitments.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
