    Hired Law firm 2019-2021

Ninaz was the answer to my prayers. Never in my life did I think we would have to hire a criminal defense attorney and to make matters worse during a pandemic. I was concerned everything had to be done over the phone. Particularly because after calling various attorneys and having numerous consultations I started to feel like their interest was not my situation but rather how deep my pockets were. Free consultations were not really free and if I was lucky enough to get someone on the phone I was typically rushed off the phone. However, that all changed when I called Ninaz. She personally answered my call. She literally spent more time listening to what I had to say than anybody else I had called. She was very attentive from the beginning. Ninaz made me feel comfortable and confident there was a way out. Her calm demeanor was very pacifying since I had been under so much stress and had countless sleepless nights because of the allegations being made. She never judged us based on the allegations and no matter what our concerns were or questions we might have had Ninaz was always available. She was very transparent no matter what the updates were. She always provided possible outcomes and was always ready to listen. She’s very knowledgeable and honest. I really appreciated Ninaz as a professional and also as a person. She truly understands her clients and their situation. In our particular case, no charges were filed.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
