Hired Law firm 2022Very disappointing experience with Brooke Law group, we went in with all the facts and truth on what what happening to my parents trust with my sister being the one in control. Yes, Mr. Brookes exact words to my other siblings were: If she tries to keep any additional monies that she is aloud after the property sold, come and see me. So many issues were out of content from the get go, yes Mr Brooke was very aggressive to the other parties attorney demanding answers to which never were presented by the other side; the excuses were that my sisters attorney was very ill and that was the reason for the delays. after trying and trying and waiting, one day Mr Brooke calls me in just to tell me to forget the case and at the same time, taking our money from us for doing nothing. we were led on, thinking we had a case against my sister for her wrong doings and her crooked attorney. Mr Brooke should be ashamed of himself for his actions, I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Technically I would have given him zero stars, another waste of time and money for nothing.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
