Consulted Attorney Katherine E Stoner 2021
this woman is either as stupid as a rock or she is pure evil. she ignored overwhelming evidence of perjury and issued an order that will negatively affect my relationship with my son. she should be in prison.

The article from Jane and John Q Public came out today describing the corrupt involvement and leadership of Kathy Stoner...go to their website and read the blog "is covid 19 driving your lawyer to drink or take prescription drugs" This review will not let me post the direct link. Kathy Stoner is a corrupt, evil woman just as described in the above article. She worked with local schools to hide their daily report of my daughter's physical abuse symptoms. She worked with local corrupt therapist Harmony at Home to tell my chilldren I was dead for 2 years. She made up lies and presented them in court. And in the end, she forced me to sign a document indicating that if I ever discussed the abuse we suffered for 10 years, she would personally take my daughter permanently from me.

Stoner personally destroyed me and my children by putting us in the above-described corrupt circle. She hid all evidence presented repeatedly of my daughter's child abuse, she stalled my case for 10 years to keep the money flowing into her pocket, as well as Julianne, Founder of Harmony at Home and Elizabeth Lee, among a score of others. She was part of the corrupt Monterey County Sheriff office who personally told me I deserved to get beat up by my ex husband when I came to get my kids because I was on his property. The District Attorney refused to file charges even after I requested it and the neighbors called 911 twice. She worked with the local Elementary School to hide my daughter's physical abuse symptoms on a daily basis. And in the end to shut me up, after 10 years, she forced me to sign a document she drafted stating that if I ever mentioned the abuse again she would take my daughter from me. She is pure evil, as is the whole Monterey County Court System. You should read the article that came out yesterday in Jane and John Q Public's blog about "is-covid-19-driving-your-lawyer-to-drink-or-take-prescription-drugs"

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
