Attorney Scott represented me when I had a motorcycle accident in December of 2013. I had bounced around to different law offices who weighed my case for profitability and decided the return was not great enough for their time. I found attorney Scott via a general “Google: motorcycle accident + attorney + los angeles” search, found him amongst others, and chose him after introductory calls with a few other offices. Attorney Scott was thorough – efficient - direct and effective. He communicated simple instruction (in terms of documents and information to share with him and others) and moved quickly through our case. I was not interested in a long drawn out process and efficiency is what I got. I told attorney Scott I hope to never see him again but under the circumstance, it was an absolute pleasure working with him. If ever I or a peer are in need of legal representation , expert in the laws of Los Angeles, pertaining to motorcycle accidents, Attorney Scott will be my referral. Hands down.

Scott handled my auto collision that left me with a moderate to severe cervical injury. The other insurance company wanted to settle for an offensively low amount but Scott was able to get me a settlement beyond my expectations. All of our communication was easily done via email so there was not much effort on my part. I would definitely recommend Scott to any family and friends that may need his help. Thank you Scott - Javier

Scott was very attentive to my personal injury case and available to answer any questions. He made sure my treatment was going well with my doctor visits and made time to discuss my case and settlement throughly. He came highly recommended by a friend.

Obviously if you are reading this review you are looking for a lawyer, nobody wants to need an attorney, and hiring an attorney is a big deal, so in writing this review I am hoping to help whoever is in the situation i was in make a decision that they can later on be glad they made. When I had my motorcycle accident I didn't want to engage an attorney, the lady who cut me off seemed nice enough and said she felt really awful, admitted it was her fault and said she would take care of anything i needed. That story changed really fast once the reality of my injuries was made clear - and when I called Scott I was already in a really awful position. Scott put my mind at ease by taking care of everything over the next few months - from a situation where I was going to be the one bearing the burden of another persons carelessness, into a situation where my rights were protected and I was able to get medical care I needed to get my life back together. That was something that didn't even seem remotely possible before i engaged his services. Aside from whatever dollar value you place on that - what I got is something money can't buy, I am a trainer and a fit, very active person - I got to keep my job, and have the operation I need to get healthy enough to enjoy my life and work again, I got peace of mind to sleep and to heal - I got my life back. I don't hesitate in giving credit to Scott for making that happen for me, so i don't hesitate in recommending him to you. What you will get is someone solid, who will tell it like it is, has a proven track record, and is tough enough to go head to head with the insurance system designed to make you as the victim feel like the one at fault, and get the job done. You need a guard at the door so you can rest, a tireless, proactive advocate who you can have faith is relentlessly in pursuit of resolving things as quickly as possible in your best interest - and in that regard, you can do no better than putting your faith in Scott.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
