Shauna focuses her practice primarily on family law and education law. She handles matters in family court, criminal court, juvenile delinquency court, and administrative law tribunals. Prior to forming Cunningham Law Group, Shauna worked for top national, state, and local law firms.

Shauna is an expert in the field of education law. She has been recognized statewide for her work in special education litigation. She has particular expertise advising public entities and school districts on personnel matters, litigation, governance issues, employee discipline, collective bargaining, and contracting.

As a family law practitioner, Shauna’s background allows her to handle division of assets at any level of complexity. She uses her skill as both an advocate and a negotiator to achieve optimal results for her clients. She has expertise in trials, restraining order hearings, custody hearings, and alternative dispute resolution. She is known for passionate advocacy, a cost-effective approach to litigation, and achieving excellent results for her clients.

Shauna also represents juveniles in delinquency hearings, and clients in criminal matters in Superior Court. She graduated from UC Berkeley School of Law, teaches contracts at the San Luis Obispo College of Law, and is a proud mother of four children.
