Hired Law firm 2025I hired Rick Eldridge after spending several thousand dollars and many months with an attorney that did little to help me. In less than 4 months Rick was able to settle my divorce and save me a lot of frustration and money. His communication with me was always timely, understanding, and concise. Angela his secretary/paralegal is also a delight to deal with. If you’re looking for a family law attorney that is highly skilled and will keep your best interest in focus you can’t do better than Rick Eldridge

Hired Law firm 2024Rick and his team did an amazing job. I highly recommend to anyone looking for great representation. Rick has years of experience and handles all aspects in a professional manner in a very efficient method. I could not be happier with my choice of using Rick and his team.

Hired Law firm 2022When my ex tried everything possible to end my spousal support, I turned to Rick. Not only did he listen to my story but he also believed in me and stayed a step ahead of all proceedings, fought hard, and pushed for all that I asked for plus more. He’s clearly experienced and advanced in family law, has a highly capable team, and is confidently assertive. And he wins. I would absolutely use this firm again and strongly recommend it.

Hired Law firm 2020I highly appreciate Rick and Deborah. They worked hard in helping me prepare in pro per. They stood behind me and helped me with paper work and everything else in a highly efficient manner. I did a full contested trial where Rick represented me, and I have never seen an attorney fight for the TRUTH so hard. He proved a complicated case. They do not charge 1000s of $$$, rather they give you "Bang for your buck". I have been through lots of attorneys, so know this really well. Rick answered every question, every email, and phone call, but did not charge me for writing a small email like other law firms do. He is very reasonable. He works hard on his cases, knows the law in and out. Most importantly, he works very hard to know his client's case in and out, in detail to understand the entire situation and tackle it. He is very hard working, honest, to the point, truthful, and the BEST in my experience. I highly recommend Rick.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
