DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! DON'T WAIT!!! Absolutely amazing team to work with and I'm incredibly happy I called them. I was in an accident that cause personal injury and was represented by Allison Worden and her team. They were on top of things right away and attained video evidence that I wouldn't have been able to get and that would have been deleted had I waited. I was still disoriented and was able to focus on my own self care while they took over everything else. They were extremely helpful and held my hand every part of the way. Max and the rest of the team were on top of everything. They were quick with responses and always made themselves available to answer my questions. They spent time to explain and help me understand where we were at, and always with kindness and respect. Felt like a conversation with family every time and I never felt rushed. I can't imagine having to have done this process without them. I would never allow a loved one to go anywhere else, God forbid they were in the same boat. They say they are my lawyer for life and I'm making sure of that!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
