Customer Reviews for Law Office of Sami Haddad, APC

Hired Law firm 2018-2023Sami has been attorney for the past 4 years and he has won 3 huge cases for me! l would highly recommend him if you need help with a move away, child support or custody, as he won all 3 separate cases for me and my daughter. First, he won my huge move away case in 2019 after a year of litigation. Then, My ex filed 2 other motions out of retaliation (change of custody and change of child support) after losing to the move away case, and Sami just won those as well! Sami is knowledgeable about the law, and he even corrected opposing counsel a few times in the courtroom during trial. He is aggressive in the courtroom and will fight for you. I feel this is how he won each case for me.

Hired Law firm 2018-2019A simple move away request has now put child at very serious risk of abduction due to his failure to address critical issues and agree to other issues despite my objections. 3 months after court I still have not received signed court documents.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
