I have had 2 very positive experiences with Steve Ruben Law Firm and would highly recommend Steve and his entire office. I recently consulted with him on the details and approach for a prenuptial agreement, and in the past he has handled my divorce case. I selected Steve Ruben to handle my cases because I needed a solid experienced professional who knows the legal code and has great connections and working knowledge of the local court system - including the judges, attorneys, and processes. Steve fit this profile perfectly. It is obvious in the first meeting that Steve knows the law and understands the many possibilities and options that can arise in each individual case. In my initial meeting interviews, Steve knew exactly the questions to ask to understand my situation and the factors that would need to be covered to create an effective legal document and agreement. In my court case he was able to cite from memory the specific cases to support his legal arguments. Another positive with Steve’s approach is his office staff. He has several paralegals on staff that fielded many of my questions and helped with the input and data collection. This helps to hold down costs – routine questions are handled by the staff at lower rates. And the staff helped provide support with the last-minute filings and motions which might have been more hectic in a smaller office. There are several lawyers that work with him and handle differing areas of family law. Steve also has the experience to understand what the issues and timing would be for my situations, and could communicate that to me – which was a big asset in calming me down to get through a confusing and emotional time. In the end I felt that I had been fairly represented and my interests had been protected. I’d recommend Steve Ruben and his entire firm highly based on the results he achieved for me, the way he handled my cases, and the supporting staff he has in place. Steve is also very personable and easy to work with. I would say he is the consummate professional.
