Shilpa Dinavahi - San Francisco, CA

Shilpa Dinavahi is an Associate Attorney in the Trusts & Estates Department at JKZ LLP. Shilpa is a dual qualified attorney admitted to practice in both the US and India. She has a robust background in domestic tax and international tax law.

She has practiced tax across three jurisdictions including India, Cayman Islands and US. In her prior roles, she worked with leading technology and semiconductor companies, providing advice on GILTI, Subpart F, FTCs, PFIC and BEAT Regulations. She focused on international tax compliance and planning. Her transfer pricing experience included review of legal agreements, supply chain optimization by developing for best tax efficient structures and IP valuations.

She now concentrates her practice on cross border tax planning for businesses and estate tax planning for private clients and family offices. Her practice is centered on assisting clients in meeting their income tax, estate tax, philanthropic and financial planning goals.

Shilpa earned her LL.M from UC Berkeley School of Law and is also a licensed CPA.

Outside of her practice, Shilpa enjoys exploring San Francisco's coffee shops, swimming in her community club, walking around the city with her husband and playing poker.
