Hired Law firm 2024-2025We are incredibly satisfied with Mr. Justin and his team at Fok Immigration Law. They are experts in their field, and were very professional and friendly while working with our case. We would not have been able to successfully navigate the immigration process without their help. Highly recommended!

Hired Law firm 202-2021Fok Immigration Law handled 9 immigration cases in my family. All 9 cases were successful! The approval of the 3 US green cards was extremely fast, which surprised the whole family. 2 family members extended their B2 visa-stay in the United States in 5 cases. Mr. Fok found the best approach based on the difference of each extension case and made the 2 people's stay completely legal, without affecting the B2 visa and future visits to the United States. In addition, a child in the family successfully obtained a F1 student visa with the help of Mr. Fok. Fok Immigration Law protects my entire family’s legal immigration in the United States. I will hire them again when needed!

Hired Law firm 2018-2021I can’t find enough words to express how grateful I am towards Justin and his team. My case had dragged a loooooong time and with several unexpected obstacles, but Justin has been so supportive, knowledgeable, resourceful, and kind. Immigration is hard and complicated, and often times frustrating, but with Justin and his team behind you, you can cheer up and carry on, and chase your dreams in this promised land. Highly recommend to anyone seeking immigration service! I honestly think my case could have failed a thousand ways, but it didn’t thanks to this most wonderful team! I’m truly grateful :-)

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
