    Hired Attorney 2021
    Recommends this Attorney
Cliff Rosenthal took care of my H1-b visa in an extraordinary way. My case was really complicated because my employer was not trained to file for an H-1b visa. My employer filed a regular H-1b petition for me on May 18, 2021, and since I was supposed to join on August 15, 2021, and didn't hear anything from USCIS. Consequently, I requested my employer to apply for premium processing but instead my employer made an expedition request which was denied. Anyhow, my employer eventually filed a premium and within fourteen days received an email from USCIS requiring initial RFEs, which need to be submitted by October 13th, 2021. One such RFE was Labor Condition Application (LCA) and my employer submitted the Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD), which we need to get LCA. The department of Labor intimated to my employer that we should expect to receive the LCA by November/December 2021 and I eventually got to know from my school that my H-1b visa will be denied if the evidence is not submitted on time. In all panic mode, my school suggested that I should be finding an attorney in California since my employer is based in California. I started calling schools in California that hire international scholars and fortunately had an opportunity to get hold of an international advisor at UC-Riverside. After listening to all my details, he told me it's a really complicated case and recommended me the attorney that deals with their H-1b visa and that was Cliff Rosenthal with Wolfdorf law firm. Without wasting any time, I reached out to Cliff and told him my situation and he very quickly responded and took my case without further delay. While dealing with my case, he and his team had been so professional and kept me in the loop with all the paperwork, and asked me and my employer to provide every single piece of evidence that support my case. With all the supporting documents, Cliff filed a premium H-1b for me and within fourteen days, my case got approved. By going over all the stress in the past six months, I am literally feeling relieved and this all is due to the very professional handling of my petition by Cliff and its team. I can not thank Cliff and the whole team enough for all the great work. Without any reservations, I highly recommend Cliff Rosenthal to anyone that is looking to apply for H-1b or anything related to immigration.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
