Verified ClientHired Law firm 2009-2024I have used the services of Mr. grimes more then just a few times over the last 20+ years. I personally have consulted with him regarding a work-related situation that involved a violation of " The American disabilities Act " and " Title VII of the Civil Rights act of 1964 ". His advice helped protect my job. Also, I have a family member that needed help setting up a non-profit for the homeless. Mr Grimes was able to cut through all of the red tape - not an easy thing to do - and he made it happen. And most recently our family had a death which required maneuvering through financial issues, creditors, estate probate issues, etc. Mr. Grimes was able to help us through this very emotional and trying time. We are forever thankful to Mr. Grimes and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Verified ClientHired Law firm 2022-2024If I could give them more than 5/5 stars, I would. Grime Law has been nothing short of perfect. Highly recommend to anyone that needs some of the best service I've ever experienced from a law firm. Comfort level - 10/10 Cost effectiveness - 10/10 Responsiveness - 10/10 Kindness - 10/10 Understanding - 10/10 Lauren and Dylan have been an invaluable north star to achieving victory in my case. Their level of expertise, responsiveness, and kindness throughout the entire process has been exceptional. Given how niche various aspects of my case are/were (digital services, contract disputes), they have both helped navigate it with ease. With each and every step throughout the process, they have been holding my hand and assisting with whatever is needed.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
