Overview
I received my BA in history from UCLA in 1993. I attended Ventura College of Law and received my Juris Doctorate. While attending Law School, I was a law clerk for the District Attorney's office for Child Support. In 2007, I became certified as a family law specialist. I volunteer as a settlement officer in the Ventura County courts.
In 2009, I opened my own practice where I continue to focus primarily on family law cases. I have tried complex custody, domestic violence and child/spousal support cases. My focus is to educate my client about the law and life after divorce and how to adapt to their new role. My goal is to take all steps to attempt to settle outside of court, however, when settlement fails I prepare and advocate my client's position in the adversarial process.

Hired Attorney 2019-2021Stephanie Mahdavi was combative and competitive throughout my entire case which resulted in years of unnecessary litigation. She is an aggressive antagonist who will tell you that she is trying to settle your case, when in reality she intentionally causes more friction to ensure your need for her services. After all was said and done, every penny I hired her to fight for in my divorce went to paying her six figure bill and I was left with nothing. I will say that she is willing to lie for you in court and help hide your assets if you’re into that sort of thing. And your ex will have a hard time finding an attorney who is willing to waste their time and resources dealing with her.
