Hired Law firm 2020-2021Justin and Sherry are absolutely amazing! I had a very difficult case which included a brain injury on my part which makes communication and emotional problems. They were so compassionate and patient with me. I felt so very taken care of. They really got involved personally with me and worked extremely hard for an excellent outcome of my case. They responded so quickly to any question I had even if I had repeated it because I forgot I had asked it already. I was informed every step of the way. They were so involved it was amazing! I highly recommend them so much! I can't say enough good things about them!

Hired Law firm 2021Going through an experience that required a family law attorney was the hardest experience of my life. Justin was kind, compassionate and an amazing attorney. From the first time Justin and I spoke, the welfare of my children was the #1 focus, which set the tone for the entire legal process. I am truly grateful to have had Justin during such a trying time in my life.

Hired Law firm 2018-2019I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. One word. Loyal. Justin was awesome to work with from day 1. When we initially met with him right off the bat I felt he was very genuine and that moment we decided to go with Justin to represent us he was there through it all. Justin always gave me such great advice whether I agreed with it or not I trusted him through the entire process and I have to bring Jamie into this too.. she was wonderful! Very genuine and great to work with. In the end we "won" it was a rough emotional battle but I know I couldn't have made it to the finish line without Justin, Jamie and "my village" I would recommend Justin Ross & Associates to anyone. Thank you all!

Hired Law firm 2018-2019I was represented better than I could have ever imagined. My needs were put first and was treated as a friend rather than a number. My opinions were valued and my doubts were always reassured. My nerves were calmed and the process was always explained. Justin fought hard for me. He went above and beyond and did everything he could to ensure a great outcome. Jamie was sincere and walked me through all the piles of documentations. I couldn't have asked for a better law firm. Thank you Justin and Jamie!!!”

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
