Talk about unprofessional! I met with Peter Mcquire and hired him to help me apply for disability. He informed me that they would help me fill out the application in about a week and setup the phone appointment. I gathered all the information and documents they requested to have ready for the phone application appointment. However, his paralegal, informed me that there was something wrong with the online system as it was saying that my information was not valid. She was rude on the phone and told me that I needed to call the social security office to find out what the problem was and that we would have to reschedule. I called both the local and federal disability offices and was informed that she must have been entering my information incorrectly as everything was correct in the system. I then called the paralegal to tell her what I had learned and to get rescheduled. She told me that the social security office didn't know what they were talking about and that she was going to mail me a hard copy version of the application. However, she did not even tell me what to do with it or schedule a time to help me fill it out. Again she was rude, short, and annoyed sounding that I asked 1 question. I then went online to see if what social security was correct, which they were. I was able to login to apply for disability as myself and/or as a third party helping me. There was no problem with my information or the computer system for the application. I then called the paralegal back and left a voicemail stating that I was able to login without a problem and would like to be rescheduled to actually fill out the application. She NEVER even bothered to return my call. The following week I left a second voicemail, this time with the lawyer directly explaining the situation and asking to be rescheduled to complete my application. Again I NEVER received a call back. I waited another week and left a second voicemail for Mr. McQuire inquiring if he was actually going to help me apply disability or if I should find a new lawyer as it had been a month and a half at this point and I couldn't even get anyone at his firm to return any of my calls or schedule me to complete the disability application. I finally had to call and ask the receptionist if I needed to fire him in writing as he had me sign a contract and refused to even return any of my calls. She was unsympathetic to my situation and said that she would ask the lawyer and get back to me. Not 5 minutes later she called back saying that she had talked to the lawyer and that I did not have to fire him in writing as they had not submitted anything to social security on my behalf. Apparently, the lawyer can answer and return calls in minutes when he wants to. Because of this firm and their complete lack of integrity, honesty, compassion professionalism and competence, my application process has been postponed for 2 months. This is 2 months waisted that I have not and will not have an income or even a pending disability application and now I am back to square one having to find another disability lawyer. Whatever you do DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER OR LAW FIRM!
