Overview
Halleh T. Omidi is a Founding Equity Partner at Hogan Omidi, P.C., a specialized Denver divorce attorney and counsels clients on the various aspects of dissolution of marriage cases, including complex asset division, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, maintenance, paternity, post-decree modifications, appeals, and the like.
Halleh is experienced in litigation as often it is necessary for a Denver family law case to be litigated. In 2013, Halleh completed the Houston Family Law Trial Institute, an elite family law trial seminar. However, when litigation is not required, she negotiates with opposing counsel/opposing parties, for an optimal outcome for her client’s in highly contentious domestic matters.
Halleh was born and raised in Westminster, Colorado. Her experience and dedication as a Denver family lawyer began even before she attended law school. She completed her undergraduate course work at the University of Colorado Boulder, graduating summa cum laude. During college, Halleh interned for the Boulder County Juvenile Court.
While in law school, she worked as a student attorney in the University of Colorado Juvenile Law Clinic representing children as a Guardian ad Litem in Dependency and Neglect cases. In addition, she also represented parents as Respondent Parent Counsel in Dependency and Neglect cases. Additionally, she spent time working on family law cases as a law clerk at Hogan Omidi, P.C. during law school.
Halleh’s experience in advocating for the best interests of the children is helpful in parental responsibility disputes because it gave her the tools to advise her clients of the outcomes that will benefit their children the most.
Halleh’s extensive knowledge of family law and tireless dedication to her clients’ interests have resulted in a number of honors from within the legal community. Halleh is an officer of the Colorado Bar Association Family Law Section Executive Council and a Fellow in the Colorado Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She has consistently been named a Colorado Super Lawyer, been named in 5280 Magazine’s Denver’s Top Lawyers for the past few years, and recognized by Best Lawyers in America for Family law. In recognition of her high standard of ethics and successful outcomes for her clients, Halleh holds an AVVO “Superb” rating and has been awarded the AVVO “Client’s Choice Award” for the past several years.
She serves the community as a committee member and mentor for “Law School Yes We Can,” as a regular volunteer for Metro Volunteer Lawyers, and as a guest instructor for a variety of courses and panels at the University of Colorado Law School and as a presenter at continuing education programs.
When she is not helping families navigate the legal system, Halleh enjoys group fitness, watersports, hiking, reading and traveling.
