Max Montag - Denver, CO

Max, a native of Missouri, moved to Colorado in 2013 to attend the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Since being admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2016, he has built a strong litigation practice representing individuals and businesses in a wide range of legal disputes.

Today, Max is an attorney with Stag Law, where his primary practice focuses on commercial litigation, with additional experience in civil litigation and consumer protection matters. He represents clients in complex business disputes, contract claims, commercial conflicts, and other civil litigation matters, providing strategic, practical, and results-driven legal counsel throughout every stage of the litigation process.

Known for his thorough preparation and analytical approach, Max develops tailored legal strategies designed to protect his clients' interests while pursuing efficient and favorable resolutions. Whether negotiating a settlement or advocating in the courtroom, he is committed to delivering effective representation and is prepared to litigate when necessary to achieve the best possible outcome.

Outside of his practice, Max enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He lives in the Denver area with his wife, Mackenzie, and their cat, Asher. An avid skier, he also enjoys hiking, camping, and taking advantage of Colorado's outdoor lifestyle. Max has a passion for music and enjoys attending live performances whenever he has the opportunity.
