Nathan Silver grew up in Minneapolis. His undergraduate degree is in political science from Knox College, his MBA is from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and his law degree is from Mitchell Hamlin School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Before Nathan became a lawyer, he was an Army officer, and then a budget analyst who formulated and executed budgets of $100M.
