Denver Injury and Accident Law Lawyer
Overview
Nicole is a passionate litigator and enthusiastic trial attorney with an impeccable record of success. She has primarily focused on plaintiff's personal injury claims.
She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado Law School. During law school, she worked as a Student Attorney in CU Law's Civil Practice Clinic. She represented clients and litigated cases involving social security disability law, family law, and immigration law. Her biggest victory in law school was winning a client's social security disability appeal case where she served as one of the lead attorneys and obtained a large verdict for the client including substantial backpay. Her second biggest victory was receiving the award of Best Brief for CU Law's Colorado Appellate Advocacy Competition. She also interned with Utah Legal Services and assisted with the representation of clients in protection order and social security hearings. She also began working for CGH during law school as law clerk and paralegal.
Prior to attending law school, Nicole worked for nearly 10 years as a legal assistant and paralegal to various trial attorneys. She started with the mid-sized insurance defense firm, Morris Polich & Purdy, LLP, and learned the tactics of insurance defense firms. She went on to become a paralegal for a blind employment and labor law attorney, which involved regularly attending court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations. From there, she assisted attorneys in other areas of law spanning personal injury, business litigation, family law, and bankruptcy. This gave Nicole the perspective needed to fully understand aggressive client advocacy, the litigation process, team communication, efficient case management, and effective negotiation.
Today, Nicole manages the prelitigation division of CGH in addition to working on cases in litigation. Some of her favorite parts of her job include preparing and going to trial, consulting with new clients, strategizing, maximizing client settlements, negotiating against insurance companies, and leading CGH's amazing team of skilled paralegals and assistants. Fighting for clients and helping hundreds of clients navigate the court system ranks among her most rewarding and impactful life accomplishments.
Nicole was born in Los Angeles and raised in Huntington Beach, California. She earned her dual bachelor's degree in Criminology, Law, & Society and Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California at Irvine, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Competitive by nature, Nicole is a former certified professional ski instructor and competitive artistic roller skater. Her hobbies include skiing, snowboarding, indoor roller skating, rollerblading, healthy eating, and camping.
At CGH, Nicole continues to devote herself to helping others and to the zealous practice of law. Whether you have been injured in a crash or accused of a crime, Nicole and her team are here to help get your life back on track.
