Our Law Firm's Philosophy

In May of 2009, before we established our firm, we each asked ourselves a basic question: if I were harmed physically, financially, or emotionally, sued by another person, or arrested and then charged with a crime, what type of lawyer would I want to represent me? Legal Services:

Our goal, in every case, is not only to advise our clients, but also to help solve their problems – in the most efficient and cost-effective manner available. Sometimes that means going to trial – and we are always ready and prepared to do so. Other times, however, that means exploring alternatives to avoid litigation. We also have an extensive appellate practice.

As a full-service law firm, we provide clients with a wide-range of legal services.

•We litigate in a variety of practice areas, including both civil litigation and criminal defense.

•We represent clients before various regulatory agencies, administrative law agencies, and professional licensing boards.

•We provide legal support services – on a contract basis – for other attorneys and law firms.

•We remain committed to community service, and we regularly accept appointments to represent indigent persons.

Experience:

We have a combined 47 years of legal experience. We have practiced law at large, medium, and small-sized Denver law firms. We have also practiced law at various government offices and public interest organizations in Colorado. We have, therefore, served as:

•Criminal Defense Lawyers and Public Defenders;

•District Attorneys, Prosecutors, and Assistant Attorneys General;

•Law Professors; and

•Trial & Appellate Lawyers.

We have, collectively, conducted over 150 jury trials, litigated over 200 appeals, and represented clients at over 100 mediations and settlement conferences.

In the civil law context, we have litigated cases with millions of dollars at stake, hundreds of dollars at stake, and everything in between.

When exploring and finding solutions to our clients’ problems, we employ a “team approach,” which allows us to take advantage of the various skills that each of us possess.
