Decker & Jones in Denver, Colorado, represents individuals facing serious criminal charges throughout the state. Founding attorneys Christopher Decker and David Jones began their careers with the Colorado Public Defender’s Office, where they handled thousands of criminal matters ranging from DUI charges to first-degree murder. That experience continues to shape the way we defend our clients today.
We understand that being accused of a crime can affect every part of a person's life. Our clients are treated as individuals rather than case files, and we take the time to understand their circumstances before developing a defense strategy. Mr. Decker and Mr. Jones have continued to develop their trial skills throughout their careers. Both have taught trial practice and have provided testimony concerning criminal defense matters. Their combined experience includes cases that have resulted in acquittals and dismissals, as well as negotiated resolutions. We understand that not every case should follow the same path, so we evaluate whether negotiation, settlement or trial is appropriate based on the individual circumstances.
