Overview
I know what it's like to face a landlord who won't fix anything, a security deposit that never comes back, or a lease dispute that feels impossible to fight alone. Before founding Prompt Counsel, I spent years on both sides of these cases — representing landlords in eviction proceedings, defending tenants against unlawful lockouts, and handling the full range of Colorado civil litigation. I've seen what happens when tenants don't know their rights. And I've seen what changes when they do.
I founded Prompt Counsel because I believe access to a good attorney shouldn't be a luxury. Colorado tenants have stronger legal protections right now than most people realize — security deposit treble damages, habitability standards with real teeth, just-cause eviction protections, and more. My job is to make those protections real for the people who need them.
