When Broomfield became its own county in the Denver metro area, he became the Senior Deputy District Attorney responsible for all prosecutorial duties in the City and County of Broomfield. He supervised the Broomfield District Attorney's office staff for nearly four years and worked closely with the Broomfield Police Department as well as Broomfield judges.
