Consulted Law firm 2020Over 6 months of a certain attorney to get back to you on a serious family issue. Give them every document on the case and he didn’t even touch it, but someone that’s on the same case goes to him with cash in his hand and he takes on the case. We were wrongly accused with documentation proving it and he agreed and now is representing the other side. Conflict of interest much. Just goes to show how it’s all about money and never about families. All the good things everyone said about attorney blanchard Is absolutely not true. Now innocent children are going through hell and nothing I can do cause to much time has gone by. Not to mention during our consultation I guess my serious case was to boring for him because he was falling asleep. My grand babies deserve to be home with their family not in state custody. Absolutely the most worst experience I’ve ever dealt with but I was holding on cause of all the good talk about him.

Hired Law firm 2023-2025Words cannot adequately express my gratitude for the work done by Sam Nassetta and Bryan Fiengo, of Susman Shapiro. My husband was facing an unimaginable battle that could potentially devastate his future, and that of our family. We were terrified and felt helpless under the overwhelming weight of legal complexities and possible ramifications. Our case lasted almost two agonizing years. Sam and Bryan worked diligently and helped us stay informed and prepared every step of the way. More importantly, we felt they were invested in a positive outcome because they believed in my husband. I understand that lawyers are committed to their clients, but Sam and Bryan far exceeded that. The case was brought to trial and truth prevailed with a Not Guilty verdict. Throughout the trial, many of the firms attorneys took the time to come support Sam and Bryan. A number of Suisman Shapiro attorneys took their own time to observe the trial and were eager to offer feedback and encouragement. They made a large entity feel like a family company. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without their incredible work and representation. Sam and Bryan saved my husband’s life and fought for him every step of the way. To say that I recommend them seems gravely insufficient. If you, or someone you love, is in need of legal help, talk to Sam Nassetta and Bryan Fiengo. It will be the best decision you can ever make.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
