Cohn & Cohn is a awesome company to work with in case of a car accident, they are very professional give outstanding service to their clients. They answer my calls every time I call them and treated me like I was a part of their family. And they took care of my case in a timely manner. Adam and Cindy are very efficient and informative. And you won't be disappointed with a service.

    Hired Law firm 2017-2019
This law firm has been the most stressful to deal with my attoney on my case had me due. Most of the work on my own like medical records and still charging me for them after I had to pay out of pocket I was hit by a company out of lorton Virginia that caused damage to my vehicle I had to pay to get fix because nicole trinty did not do her part to have there insurance pay for the repairs which cost me over $3000,00 and also she kept changing her story on not keeping her word on how she was going to handle my case . After this accident had to get 5 disc replaced in my neck and had trouble walking . None of it cohen and cohen had settled are true to settle in this suit . It costed me money and work. Had to under physical therapy and pain management out pocket expenses. Due to her not doing her part this went on 2 years with nothing but headache and she said she was going after the company and insurance company and driver and did no such thing .. told I was looking st a 20 grand settlement. But never happend. Still waiting to receive the check after 2 months and getting more excuses from her. This has been the worse law firm to deal with if been in a accident where the driver left the scene . Who also head back the opposite direction and almost hit 2 cars and a police officer who was there for the accident. I would not recommend this law firm after all the horrible things I went through with nicole trinty . Thereattoney.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
