Overview
Allison L. Friedman graduated cum laude from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania where she received her B.S.E degree with a major in finance. Ms. Friedman obtained her J.D. degree for New York University School of Law in 1995 and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year. Ms. Friedman is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for Southern and Middle Florida.
Since 1995, Ms. Friedman has been actively and aggressively obtaining judgments and collecting money and assets from debtors on behalf of her clients. Her practice has included litigation in a wide array of areas such as contract disputes, actions on unpaid accounts, vehicle leases, repossessions, garnishments, foreign judgments, foreclosures, attachments and liens. Ms. Friedman has argued successfully in state court, federal court and the appellate courts throughout Florida and has obtained relief for her clients.
Ms. Friedman has also maintained her commitment to the legal community. She was President of the Coral Gables Bar Association from 2002 through 2003 and has also been involved with the Dade County Bar Association, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, Broward Collection Law Group and the North Miami Real Estate Council. She also has strong community ties having lived and worked in South Florida for over 30 years and has volunteered her time with many school, religious and other charitable groups.
