Overview

Since 1984, Daniel F. Pilka has represented clients all over the West Coast and Central Florida. A significant part of Mr. Pilka’s practice is devoted to representing both homeowners and condominium associations, as well as individuals who live within a deed restricted community and who are having issues with their homeowners or condominium association. As managing partner, Mr. Pilka also specializes in civil litigation. Mr. Pilka is also a certified civil mediator.

Mr. Pilka has 30 years of litigation experience, during which time he has developed a reputation for passionately and aggressively representing individuals and their businesses in all manners of civil disputes including contracts, real estate, personal injury and wrongful death, insurance disputes, etc. With his extensive experience and background, Mr. Pilka is highly trained in helping people avoid problems before they occur. Also, while he is an experienced litigator, and because he is an experienced litigator, he knows how important it is to try to avoid litigation. With such qualifications and experience, Mr. Pilka is able to use his background and experience to help both sides of an issue as a board certified mediator.

Mr. Pilka understands the importance of civic responsibility. He is very involved in the community and fully understands the importance of giving back to the community. His community involvement includes being the chairman of the St. Joseph’s Academy Foundation, the chair of the St. Joseph's Catholic School, and being actively involved as a member of St. Joseph's Parish Planned Giving Committee and member of the Parish Financial Committee and St. Joseph’s Parish Foundation. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree Counsel 2505, Lakeland, Florida, as well as being actively involved in the South Lakeland Rotary Club.

Mr. Pilka is also actively in the Brandon Chamber of Commerce and The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, previously having chaired several committees and having served two terms on the Board of Directors for the Brandon Chamber of Commerce. Pilka & Associates, P.A., was recently awarded Small Business of the Month Award for the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Mr. Pilka formerly served as president for the Brandon Bar Association, Brandon, Florida, and is currently an adjunct professor at Florida Southern College, Lakeland, Florida
