Overview

Hello, my name is Thomas B. Sherod and it would be an honor to serve as your Attorney. I was born in Dayton, Ohio, but raised in Melbourne, Florida. I have been a Floridian since the age of nine and consider Central Florida to be my "home." After high school, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Florida, a Master of Science degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida School of Law. Needless to say, I bleed Orange and Blue.
My legal career has been spent exclusively representing personal injury victims, people with workers' compensation claims and those applying for Social Security Disability (SSD) benefits. I am licensed to practice law in both Florida and Alabama, and have taught many Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars in the areas of personal injury law, workers' compensation and Social Security Disability. I have always taken great pride in representing my clients in the best way possible, and as part of my work with Dan Newlin and Partners I will continue to fight and help you get the justice you deserve!
On a personal note, I have been happily married for nine years and have an amazing son who is the center of my world. I enjoy spending time with my family and two dogs, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
