Meet our founder

Attorney Pamela T. Karlson grew up right here in Lake Placid, graduating from Lake Placid High School before earning her bachelor's degree from Stetson University and her law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham. She opened Karlson Law Group, P.A., in 2003.

Attorney Karlson is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts and before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. A respected member of the legal community, she belongs to the Highlands County Bar Association. She also serves her community and is on the board of directors of Heartland Workforce, Keep Lake Placid Beautiful and Highlands County Days.
