Spencer D. West is a partner, shareholder and co-founder of the law firm of Mitchell & West, LLC. He concentrates in the area of Family Law Litigation, which includes divorce, child custody, paternity, child support, time-sharing, relocation as well as many other complex areas of the law. Mr. West is licensed to practice law in Florida and Massachusetts, including all Florida Federal Courts, and the United States Supreme Court. He earned his undergraduate degree from Northeastern University in Boston in 1997 and his Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston in 2001.
After graduating law school, Mr. West spent nearly two years in the public service sector working for the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, before working as some of Florida's leading law firms, including Wicker, Smith, O'Hara, McCoy, Graham & Ford, P.A. in Miami and subsequently at a prestigious Texas based litigation firm in Broward County. Mr. West has extensive trial experience throughout Florida's State and Federal Courts and has been counsel on many high-profile cases. Mr. West is routinely sought out by clients and other lawyers for his extensive expertise and dedication to fighting for his clients.
